Q: I received the Password and Username of my hosting account, what now?
A: U can now upload your webpage by using the controlpanel or by using a FTP client.
Some examples of FTP clients are:
FileZilla, WS_FTP.
Q: How do i upload my webpage by using a FTP client?
A: In general you need the following data for using your ftp client:
Server URL: ftp.yourwebpage.ext
Port: 21
Username: Your username
Password: Your password
Q: I uploaded my webpage but i can't see it?
A: U always need a index.html .php or .htm, make sure you have one. This is your startpage or frameset page, this page will be the one first to be shown when you visit your webpage.
Q: What do you mean with bandwidth.
A: Bandwith is the amount of data that is sent too and from your domain. We measure bandwidth in bytes. You can see how much bandwidth you used and have in your controlpanel.
Used to much bandwidth:
When you exceed the amount of bandwidth you have your account will be blocked automatically, you then can contact us if you which to keep using your website and pay for the extra traffic.
If you almost exceed your bandwidth you will be notified of this.
Your bandwidth will be reset every month it is not possible to transfer your leftover bandwidth to the next month.
If you which not to be automatically blocked when you exceed your bandwidth contact us.
Q: My hosting supports PHP, what is this?
A: PHP stands for Hypertext Preprocessor, and is used for making dynamic webpages. We support PHP 5 and PHP 4 if requested.
Q: Do you check my website?
A: We don't really check the content of your website, but we do check our servers.
If one of our servers has a problem we will be immediately informed. And one of our skilled employee's will investigate the problem.
Q: Are the statistics available for my webhosting?
A: Yes, every web hosting package comes with a statistics page, you can visite any time you want.
Q: Am i allowed to sell webspace or bandwidth to other people?
A: This is only allowed if you have a reseller package. You can find these packages under the header Reseller Packages in our menu.
Q: Do you watch my bandwidth?
A: We have software that automatically monitors the bandwidth of our users and warns us if you use up to much bandwidth.
